This project was developed by Learning through Landscapes and funded by UBS, a financial institution with a tradition of providing support to Hackney schools.
The aim of the project was to explore with children and practitioners in two early years settings how good use of the outdoor environment could foster the development of children’s mathematical skills.
Gail delivered this project in two settings in Hackney, a preschool and a Primary School Foundation Stage Unit. The ideas and outcomes of the project were published in a booklet which was then distributed to all Hackney schools and settings.
